- Tohfa is a broken rice grain that is used in many traditional dishes.
- It is easy to prepare and cook since it cooks faster than whole grain rice.

- When cooked, the rice does not turn sticky, and possesses minimum breadth-wise expansion. Cooked rice is fluffy white with pleasant aroma and very tasty to eat.
- It is a great addition to soups, salads, stews and casseroles, and can also be used as a side dish or as the main ingredient in a dish.
Note: During cooking, the level of aroma decreases. Soaking the rice for 30 minutes before cooking permits 20% shorter cooking times and preserves more of the aroma.
